While the titles are not exactly three-dimensional, I think it's hard to put a Film title category on your site and not have some sort of reference to Saul Bass. This nicely designed page I found by notcoming.com is great for referencing the work he has done. As well as this site Design at the Design Museum. Further links to some great articles on the site.
